Well done to each runner up and winner in the Reception classes! Max and Alex the runner up and Corey and Oliver were chosen the winners for RLM and RRH! Well done to everyone who wore an Easter hat or tie, they will all receive a lovely chocolate treat! 🐣🍫
Easter....Here we come!
We had a fabulous turnout in Reception this morning for our traditional Easter bonnet and tie parade! Miss Holland and Miss McAllister are glad they don't have to judge and choose the winners!

Easter story!
Reception enjoyed learning about the Easter Story today with our lovely friends Sue and Sharon, from BSYW. We added pictures to the different parts of the story, then decided whether it was happy or sad, putting our own happy face or sad face at different stages of the story. We also learned a song about Easter and learning the Bible stories. Thank you Sue and Sharon!

Bye Mr Holt and Miss Flear!
Reception will have to say goodbye today to our two new friends, Mr Holt and Miss Flear! They have been super teachers the past half term but it's now time for their placement to end and move on in their teaching journey! We will miss them both and wish them the best of luck for the future!xxx

Terrific Tram Day!
Reception had a fantastic day at the Tram Depot yesterday! We all had a go at sitting in the driver's seat and enjoyed beeping the loud horn! Then we learned all about the older trams and how to drive them, it was a lot trickier! We were so lucky to have our very own Thames Primary Academy tram which took us all the way to north shore and back, we loved waving to all the people on the prom! To top the day off, we went through the HUGE tram wash, to keep the tram clean after a very busy morning! Thank you so much to Ian and all his staff at Blackpool Transport Sevices for an awesome experience that we will never forget!
