Minibeast hunters!

As a kick start to our minibeast topic Reception went to park view for a minibeast hunt. We began the day with a walk through wishing well wood.

We found the perfect spot to start looking for minibeasts.
After all that digging for bugs, we used some clay to make our own minibeasts. We used things we found on the ground to help make them look more realistic.
After that we went and did some digging in deep soil, we found lots of worms in here!
We saw a beehive and looked at the honey, some of us tasted it - so sweet!
Then it was time for dinner. We sat in the cosy pod and warmed up.
We just had enough time for a play on the park before heading back to school.
