RT Minibeast hunt!

Today we went to ParkView for our minibeast hunt. When we arrived we met Rachel the park ranger. She talked through some rules with us before we went out into the kitchen garden to look at all the lovely vegetables and herbs growing.

In the kitchen garden we looked around for minibeasts, in the soil and on the flowers.

A different park ranger, Julie, then showed us their beehive. There were over 10,000 bees living in
there!

After that it was time for hand washes and snack in the eco-pod.

After snack we went through 'Wishing well wood' to look for more minibeasts. We found lots of different ones, especially under logs.

Next we made some clay minibeasts, the children were so creative with the objects they found around the park.

Dinner time!! Everyone's favourite time of day!

After dinner we had a play on the park!

All the fun was too much for many of the children, we had some snorers on the way back to school! A fab day was had by all!😃
